Information we collect

Information you give us directly, including:

• Contact & inquiry details — your name, email, phone number, and any message or event details you submit through our forms.
• Account information — if you create an account, your name, email, and phone. You can sign in with email, a magic link, or a Google, Microsoft, or Discord account; when you use one of those, we receive your name and email from that provider.
• Request details — your venue name and address, the machine you're interested in, and any notes you provide when you contact us or request a machine.
• Sign-in activity — for account security, we record the date, IP address, and browser/device for each sign-in to your account. You can view your own recent sign-ins on your account page.
• E-signature records — when you electronically sign a rental agreement or waiver, we record your name, IP address, browser/device (user-agent), and a timestamp as proof of the signed document.
• Machine problem reports — when you scan the QR code on one of our machines and report an issue, we collect the issue type, any description you add, and (only if you choose to provide it) your phone or email so we can follow up. No account is required.

We also automatically collect limited technical data (such as basic log and device information) and use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to measure how visitors find and use the site — see Analytics & cookies below.

How we use your information

• Respond to your inquiries and prepare rental quotes (which are estimates until confirmed).
• Schedule, deliver, set up, and service your rental.
• Create and manage your account and bookings.
• Send you service-related email (confirmations, updates, and replies).
• Operate, secure, and improve our website.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and email routing.
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• U.S. Census Bureau (geocoder) — when you provide a delivery address, we send it to its free geocoding service to determine the delivery county for sales-tax calculation; it is not used to identify you.
• Google / Microsoft / Discord — optional sign-in, if you choose it.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics, used only if you consent to analytics cookies.
• Stripe — payment processing, if and when online payments are enabled.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Where your data is stored

Your information is stored and processed in the United States (our database is hosted in a U.S. region) and handled by U.S.-based service providers. If you access the site from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Analytics & cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, secure the site, and remember your cookie choice. These are always on because the site can't function without them.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages are popular and the general region visitors come from). Analytics is off by default — we ask first, and nothing is set unless you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. We use Google's Consent Mode, so before you consent Google receives only anonymous, cookieless measurement. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-site advertising without your consent.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing us — we'll respond within a reasonable time.

You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit, and change that choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging rentals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
